Siemens will invest an additional 500 million euros in Africa
Siemans, the German industrial conglomerate, announced the investment of an additional 500 million euros in Africa to support crucial projects such as the development of infrastructure and education.
''We have decided to invest an additional €500 million in the African continent'' said the general manager of the group, Joe Kaeser at the Africa-Europe High Level Forum in Vienna. ''Africa needs reliable infrastructure, energy and affordable electricity to take advantage of the digital age'' he added, without further details.
